Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, applications, and networks.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve tickets requiring urgent attention.
- Diagnose issues, allocate appropriate resources, test fixes, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to users.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant support policies to deliver accurate solutions and document resolutions.
- Handle and resolve helpdesk requests efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably Python).
- Proficiency in Linux commands and SQL/NoSQL queries.
- Strong understanding of Linux services and web servers (e.g., Nginx).
- Experience troubleshooting issues on Linux & Windows OS.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu OS.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a rotational shift, including nights.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
- At least 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of AWS or other cloud hosting platforms.
